Meat and Deli POS terminals help you keep track of In House Inventory of your Deli. This is Inventory both by Recipe and Item. This means you have complete portion control of whole items and recipe based items. Your deli staff, butchers and cooks, can make sandwiches out of various meats, or prepared foods. The POS System will invisibly manage the inventory of all sales by the deli.

The Meat & Deli Department terminals consist of the following pos hardware:

1.      All-In-One Touch PC Point of Sale Terminal

2.      Zebra Thermal Label Printer

3.      Avery Scale with butchers display

4.      Display to show customer weight and total price.

Butcher or Deli Cashier Process:

It’s an easy process to use the Deli POS Terminal. The meat and deli products are placed on the scale. The butcher can use the touch screen to select the item from the menu. The display shows the customer both the price and the weight.  When the butcher packages the meat, or prepared food, a label is printed with a bar code – for the cashier to scan.

Once these items have been printed and packaged, their amounts are deducted from inventory, but remained tracked in the inventory system.

Items processed at the deli are taken by the customer who later brings them to the cashier.  As orders are processed at the registers, paid for, and leave the market, they are deducted off the order list of each department. 

By the end of the day the sales not reconciled are accounted for. Any items not sold by the cashiers but processed by the deli are managed by the cashiers or deli staff.

In House Managed Inventory:

Your deli probably pre-packs items. Pre-packed items sold along normal items can also be managed using the In House Deli & Market Inventory System. When packed, these items are labeled Auto Labeling feature using Zebra Labels. Labels with the item name, auto generated barcode, price, and weight are generated. Various color schemes are available. Your store logo can also be placed on the label.

On Demand Inventory Reporting:

Both Inventory of Recipes and Whole Items are available. These reports can be generated throughout the day to ensure that inventory is kept up to date and inventory doesn’t run low.
