Loyalty Programs in the Point of Sale Software

One of the most thrilling parts of point of sale is tracking customer usage and helping them realize they have a benefit from coming to you. CCS tracks loyalty programs by the customer and the order.

Loyalty Points Based on Dollars Spent

This program is similar to credit card point programs. Your customer’s receive credit for each dollar they spend at your location.

To apply the discount, the Loyalty Button must be placed in the toolbar in the “restaurant menu button layout”

Loyalty Program Based on Order Count

This program is based on the number of orders. The discount is automatically applied, and is based on discounting the order by percentage or a flat cash value.

Loyalty Program Based on Item Grouping

Loyalty programs include: 2 for one style coupons, happy hour, VIP Cards, Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, and the buy 10 get one free style discounting.

1. Discount Group Types: This determines how the items will be discounted when part of a loyalty program, such as two for one, free item, discount on order.

2. Date Group Begins: For historical reporting purposes, this tells when the group was initialized.

3. The quantity of items that will be met to apply the program discounting.

4. Amount to discount, either by percentage or dollar value.

5. Availability: if this is similar to happy hour pricing, there can be two for one specials on orders between certain times, or specials on groups of items such as sushi combo meals.
