This maintains the Rate x Weight = Principal Price, which is seen historically in every business. The CCS solution but it also allows for the following examples:

-The price of Purple Kush can be priced with a scale accordingly.\\ +Download this guide here.
-1 Gram = $20.00\\ +[[http://www.cafecartel.com/temp/pricetierguide.pdf|Price tier guide.]]
-1.8 Grams = $28.00\\  +
-3.5 Grams = $50.00\\  +
-7 Grams = $95.00\\  +
- +
-Also, you can set up the pricing system to charge $20.00 for 1.1 gram, 1.2 etc. The same option can apply to variances for 3.5, 3.6. Essentially the solution can price out every increment of weight on the scale, giving you the flexibility you require. +

-===== Setup===== +
- +
-Setup assumes you understand how to add a new menu itemIt also assumes you understand Price Categories.\\ +
- +
-The added part to make Tier Pricing is explained below: +
- +
-===== Tier Pricing ===== +
- +
-Tier pricing usually works in tandem with the price categories. There are usually 3-5 different groups of pricing for strains. To keep it simple, we usually label them, Tier-1, Tier-2 etc. You may have pricing you call. Premium, Standard, Special or something similar.\\ +
- +
-To first setup the Tier Pricing, we'll enter the groups into the price table. \\ +
- +
-You may access Tier Pricing from - Office (Main Menu) Menu Service - Weighted Tier Pricing.\\ +
- +
-The Tier window. This window has no items in it until you select a category.\\ +
- +
-Once you add a line, or generate a list, you will set the pricing for each weight point. If you do not input a price it will revert to your standard pricing. +
- +

- +
-Select a category and view all the pricing set for the tier.\\ +
- +
-{{:guides:dispensary:tierpricing:tier2.png|}} +
- +
-You may wish to generate a list of weights so you can put in pricing. Use Advanced - Dispensary. This will generate the most common lookups.\\ +
- +
-<note tip>Always use the Price Column. This is the end price you want to charge. The system will automatically calculate the rate.</note> +

- +
-===== Assign Tier Pricing to Items ===== +
- +
-Once you have input the pricing for your tiers, can you assign them to the items. Because we use price categories, this is a two step procedure. If you already have items, and are migrating to this setup, it's a one step procedure. +
