Enter the at least the following fields: * Item Name * SKU * Retail * Cost * Barcode * Count * Tax * TaxType * Category {{:guides:dispensary:prepackagemedicine:itemlist_2_.png|}}\\ ===== Generate Barcoded Items ===== Next, use the Advanced button on the toolbar to add the packaged weights that are standard. This items will be auto generated with barcodes. \\ {{:guides:dispensary:prepackagemedicine:itemlist_1_.png|}}\\ <note>Each item will need it's price adjusted. The cost of each item is determined by the cost per gram of the original item.\\ Items cost will be updated when inputing the new inventory through purchase orders.</note> ===== Print Labels from Search Screen ===== There are several options for printing labels. This section covers printing barcode labels with the Legal Statements, the item name, the logo and the barcode of the item. This label prints on a 2.25" X 2" label.\\ {{:guides:dispensary:prepackagemedicine:medicine-barcode-label.png|}} To print these labels, the quantity of the items should be que'd up. To do this, go to **'Bar Code Labels'** from the toolbar. Select **'Que Barcode Labels 1 Per Item count'**\\ Then print the labels - as seen below. Choose - Bar Code Labels - Zebra Labels - Zebra Dispensary Labels.\\ {{:guides:dispensary:prepackagemedicine:printzebra-dispensary-labels.png|}} ===== Inventory Receiving / Conversion ===== ==== Step 1 ==== This is a two step procedure. Please refer to [[guides:dispensary:purchaseorders:newpurchaseorder|receiving inventory]] for your bulk products.\\ When running these transactions use the type 'Conversion'. This will help you track moving your bulk to packaged items. Make sure you have **'Conversion'** entered as service type. It should also be set as a 'purchase order (other)' from the right.\\ {{:guides:dispensary:prepackagemedicine:conversion.png|}} ==== Step 2 ==== Input the item's in the the Conversion Order. \\ - Enter in the bulk value item, such as A-K-47 as an Item, input the amount you will convert into packaged amounts as a negative value. This will remove it from Inventory. - Enter in the package items and the count of each that is packaged. From the Toolbar Selected - Edit - Receive Order. This will update the count of the items.\\ {{:guides:dispensary:conversioninvoice.png|}} ===== Queuing Labels ===== When you have received the inventory. Then choose, File - Que Barcode Labels. You can then print these labels from the search window as shown above.
