====== Dispensary Menu Management in CCS ====== Summary Menu management in a dispensary involves in adding new menu items(strains),allocating price categories and managing weighted tier pricing. Choosing a the right printer is also crucial to print labels for each item. ===== Prerequisites to access menu management ===== * Administrative Access * Menu Layout Access ===== Managing Strains ===== ==== Add New Strains ==== Log in to CCS Office with administrative access. * From the Desktop CCS - Office Touch - Menu Center - Menu Layout * From the menu layout, choose the category from the drop down box under menu categories. * Choose an empty menu slot, type in the menu item name. * Follow the item from step 1-6 in the wizard, use the default option for most items. * For each item, choose the correct price category. * Choose the label printer. Select the strain from the Menu Layout Edit any feature of the strain. ===== Managing Price Categories ===== Price categories are used for managing pricing of multiple strains or other items that all have the same price. * When adding the first strain of a new price category. * Enter the name of the price category in the 'Add New Product Wizard' window, in section five. * Press enter to save the new price category. * Press the 'Edit Cateogory' button. * Enter the price lines of each price charged for each specific weight sold. Each line requires it's own size and price, as well as a part multiplier. The part multiplier is equivalent to the number of grams. Example: 3.5 grams, the multiplier is 3.5. For scale integration, each line must have its own size, price, and the product type should be set to 'weighted' option. Additionally the weighted price tier must be already in the system to be assigned. This is assigned from the right of the part multiplier. Price categories can be later be edited from the menu layout screen. Select a strain that has the price category to edit, then from the right side, press the 'Edit Pricing' button. ===== Managing Weighted Price Tiers ===== Weighted price tiers are used to charge specific amounts for weight increments. They are used with the price categories to control the pricing of groups of strains. ==== To add a category ==== From the Menu Service Toolbar >> Tier Weight Pricing In the group drop down, type in the name of the new category. From the toolbar, select 'Advanced >> New Dispensary List' Each weight is incremented by tenths. Enter the price/rate for each line. The alternate price is the price for happy hour discounting. ==== Edit a category ==== From the Menu Service Toolbar >> Tier Weight Pricing From the drop down, select the category to edit. Edit any rates or pricing that need adjustment.
