Video Outline
This video covers changing the price class of an existing brand. The price class determines the pricing for attributes of a certain category of a brand. This is a fairly dense concept so we'll break it out in the following details.
- Your store will have many brands, you will have pricing for each group of item types: pants, shorts, skirts, etc..
- Each item type is classified into different categories of pricing, this would simply be, cheaper and more expensive brands.
- Finally, each class has multiple attributes, so for example Jeans.
Jeans are described with Attributes, examples would be:
- Skinny
- Regular
- Destroyed
- Super Destroyed
So, with some brands, such as 7 For All Mankind, the class may be 10, this indicates a more expensive class than, 4 which you might assign to something like Almost Famous.
