In this video we look at product search features of CCS. CCS has an easy to use product search window where users can get powerful results.We can press show all and show all the itesm in the database.We can type in a product name, or partial name to get more results.

First we'll try Choc Medium. That gets us one item found.Or if we didn't know the name: Choc is a partial search and it yields several items.You can specify the field type to search on, such as categories.

You can use Barcodes to search for specific items. We'll go ahead and find an item with a barcode. Womens Shirt.We can copy the barcode to simulate a barcode scanner.

If we paste this code into the search window, it will look up the women's shirt.CCS also has a feature for barcode lists of items. This is for items with more than one Code.

Here we retrieve the list for the item. We see there is one barcode.  Now we can add a new barcode to this item, and do the search again.By using a list, we can retrieve one item from multiple numbers.This concludes the item search features for CCS.
